Exposed by: Tracy Wolff

Will Ethan Frost go too far for the woman he loves?

The moment Chloe Girard walked into my life, she exposed secrets and emotions I always thought were best kept buried.

She wants to move on, to ignore the past. But I can't do that. Not when she still suffers. And not when the man who hurt her remains unscathed. So when I discover the perfect opportunity to make him pay for what he did to Chloe, I can't walk away, no matter the consequences.

But there's a fine line between justice and obsession. As I turn up old crimes and new lies, I know that I'm playing with fire—and risking the very foundations of our relationship.

My love for Chloe is absolute. I just hope it's enough to save us both.

I am going to begin by saying that I really enjoy Tracy Wolff’s, Ethan Frost novels. So, when I was given the opportunity to obtain an ARC of Exposed, via Netgalley, I was eager to catch up with Ethan Frost and Chloe Girard. However, I must say I struggled through this one as Exposed picked right up where book 2, Addicted, left us with Ethan and Chloe making-up yet again and planning a life together.

These two star-crossed lovers were planning a trip to Las Vegas with two focuses. The first being marriage and the second being for Ethan to continue to investigate leads to seek revenge on the man that raped the love of his life as a teenager, Chloe, and the man who also happens to be his younger half-brother, Brandon. So, with the agenda set, with Chloe only aware of a portion of the plan, the two of them, along with Chloe’s best friend, Tori, head off to “Sin City”

Billionaire's Bid by: Kaira Rouda

Handsome tycoon James Putnam is acting CEO of his family’s logging company, Putnam Industries. He needs to land a big deal to prove to the board he’s capable of taking over the company. If not, his father’s right-hand-man Walter is more than willing to fill the role. James hurries to Indigo Island alone, certain he has what it takes to land the deal.

Aubrey Templeton is a gorgeous magazine reporter facing a mountain of debt after her parents’ tragic deaths. The only asset she has to leverage is 2,500 acres of land on Indigo Island. She hires Dirk Cooley, a forester, to create a forest management plan for her family’s land and to solicit multiple logger bids to lease the land. Aubrey makes sure James Putnam’s company is included. Aubrey and James shared a night she’ll never forget and she’s certain, once he sees her, he’ll want a repeat as much as she does. What she doesn’t know is that Dirk’s goal in life is to destroy the Putnam family and he doesn’t care who goes down with them.

Will James recognize Aubrey as more than a sexy landowner? Could she become a partner in both love and business? Will they uncover Dirk’s plot before it’s too late? Will they recognize the common roots that lead to love?

The other day, I randomly woke up at three o’clock morning and could not go back to sleep. So, I did what any self-respecting booklover would do, I began reading Billionaire's Bid by Kaira Rouda. This was a quick read that finished just as the sun was rising about a reformed playboy James Putnam trying to prove that he is capable of taking over the family business and Aubrey Templeton, who had a one night stand with him a year ago accepting bids to pay off her family’s debt after a tragedy.

Fallen by: Autumn Stark

Rainie Warren has been in love with Connor since she was five. There's just one problem. Or more like twelve problems. Connor was married to Rainie's older sister, Heather. Her sister who passed away three years ago. To Connor, she had always been and would always be just a little sister. Loving Connor was a long-term, ninja-like plan and Rainie had always been okay with that. That's what she kept telling herself.

Connor Stephens had pretty much checked out when his wife had died three years ago, but as his family returns and drags him back into their lives, Connor has to live again. After seeing his family settled as much as possible, Connor tries to retreat to his mountain for a little peace and quiet. Except one wrong step and a sinkhole later, Connor knocks himself, and his memories, right out. He wakes up to a happier place in life and a sexy redhead named Rainie.

Will Rainie be able to set aside her guilt to grasp Connor in both hands? Is this the moment of fate or just momentary fortune?
Have you ever read a book that you when you finish it you wonder what will become of the other characters in the book? Well, that is exactly what happens every time I finish an Autumn Stark novel. After I had finished reading All In, book 2 of the In Plain Sight Series. So, when I was contacted about reading book 3 I was too excited because there were some many nicely develop characters and could not see whose story would be told next. And as always, I was not disappointed by book 3 of the In Plain Sight Series by Autumn Stark, entitled Fallen.

Fallen is the story of widower Conner Stephens, who has learned to simply exist after losing the love of his life. However, Rainie Warren, his assistant has managed to keep him functioning in a world that is full of color and life, despite is doom and gloom outlook. Rainie has also loved him her entire life and would do absolutely anything for him to make his life less gloomy, but Conner seemingly goes about his life in a state of perpetual mourning. Oh, did I mention that she is the sister of his wife that has gone on to glory?

Say My Name by: J. Kenner

Meeting Jackson Steele was a shock to my senses. Confident and commanding, he could take charge of any room . . . or any woman. And Jackson wanted me. The mere sight of him took my breath away, and his touch made me break all my rules.

Our bond was immediate, our passion untamed. I wanted to surrender completely to his kiss, but I couldn't risk his knowing the truth about my past. Yet Jackson carried secrets too, and in our desire we found our escape, pushing our boundaries as far as they could go.

Learning to trust is never easy. In my mind, I knew I should run. But in my heart, I never felt a fire this strong—and it could either save me or scorch me forever.

From the first page, I was hooked and intrigued by the story of Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks in Say My Name by J. Kenner. With this story being a part of the Stark series, I was curious to see how their story would intertwine with Damien and Nikki and the cast of characters in early installments of this series. So, as I read I saw that Sylvia was Damien Stark’s assistant with aspirations of making a career in Real Estate, when she happens upon a chance to have her dreams fulfilled.

Unbound - Colours of Love (Colours of Love Series Book #1) by Kathryn Taylor

Grace is young and has led a sheltered life. She hasn't yet taken much of an interest in men. It's only while doing an internship in London, where she meets the alluring Jonathan Huntington, that our sleeping beauty is awoken from her slumber. Jonathan is rich, incredibly attractive, and stems from British royalty - but he is a far cry from Prince Charming. He lures Grace ever deeper into his world of sinister passion, and she is sucked further and further into the maelstrom of her own growing desires. But when Jonathan demands she do the unthinkable to prove her love for him, she realizes just how dangerous her feelings for him are.

Kathryn Taylor has been a writer since childhood - publishing her first story when she was eleven years old. From then on, she knew that she wanted to be a professional author one day. After a few career detours and a happy ending in her personal life, her dream has finally come true: UNBOUND - COLOURS OF LOVE is her first novel.

This novel is an incredibly well-written novel that was a page turning pleasure to read. Kathryn takes her time developing the story and developing the characters. Grace presents as a smart, slightly above average looking young woman who is a little naive in the ways of men and dating. Her introduction to her professional crush, Jonathan, can be best described as a fluke. From that moment on, Grace is privy to a series of encounters and circumstances with Jonathan that deepen their connection. My take on Jonathan is that he is something out of every woman's (wet) dream. While he is generally closed off (read: mysteriously sexy) and unreadable, his eyes are the key to his true feelings and desires. Grace's intuition into that truth is what makes this storyline so hot and steamy. Her ability to know Jonathan's wants and desires is just as sexy as their encounters themselves. You get the sense that this ability is unique only to Grace. As the story progresses, Grace becomes the epitome of sexiness - it's almost like you begin to see Grace the way Jonathan sees her. Taylor does a wonderful job of creating scenarios that are sexy (and maybe a little naughty), but somehow classy.

I was definitely taken aback by the ending. I was left feeling a little....uncomfortable(?), but definitely....curious to see what is going to happen next for Grace and Jonathan. By the end, I believe that Jonathan will be faced with a hard decision. I can't wait to see what's in store for Grace and Jonathan in Uncovered - Colours of Love. Run and read? Yes!
