This Man Confessed by: Jodi Ellen Malpas

I received an ARC of this novel from Forever Publicity on behalf of Grand Central Publishing via Netgalley.

This was the last book in the This Man series by Jodi Ellen Malpas and was actually the BEST book of the series...at least in my opinion. There was a wedding, the mystery of the missing birth control pills solved, and Ava finally learns something more about Jesse Ward other than how loud he can make her scream. This book answered all the questions and put some... remember I said some... of Jesse's craziness and shenanigans in context. I even began to understand Ava's seemingly unsupportive best friend Kate a little better. Ava's brother was not all he was cracked up to be, in fact, he turned out to be quite sketchy.



Things seemed real in this story as Jesse and Ava finally began to get into the swing of married life. That is, after they got back together. And there was that time when Jesse's craziness was too 'sekxy' that one night... in that bathroom... in that club...after Ava...yeah that was hot!!! Also, in this book, in my opinion, these two began to use their words more rather than engage in some ridiculous kink-foolery with a creative name so Jesse can get his point across.

Jesse's family and the secrets of his past really made this story. Again it made everything make sense and clearly demonstrated that things are not always what they seem and that there are some things you REALLY need to know about the person you marry... like let's say...they were married before and had a violently crazy ex-wife...

So, if you pick up This Man or Beneath This Man, keep reading, because I promise, you will not be disappointed with this awesome conclusion of Jesse and Ava's story. These two got a Happily Ever After and then some...
