Let me begin this review by telling you that I was so anticipating reading more about Chloe Girard and Ethan Frost because at the ending of the last book in this series, Ruined, was truly a cliffhanger.
Now that that is out of the way, let me tell you that this novel was an emotional roller coaster. One minute they are emotional wreckage and the next they are addicted to being addicted to loving each other with a happily after ever just centimeters away. I finally started to enjoy all of Chloe's internal dialogues as they were more useful at providing insight to not only her torrid past but also her...ummm...reasoning... for lack of a better word.
When these two were not cleaning up the rubble after one of their epic battles, or misunderstandings, or 'you pissed me off because I think you thought something or another', they were sexing like there was no day after tomorrow. These two were so emotional and so all over the place that there were certain points where you would question, who was in control over who and what. Some parts it was clear that Mr. Alpha Male Ethan Frost and others where Ms. Chloe Girard was doing the "ho-down throw-down" all over his heart.
I digress. I really enjoyed this read but I could not hep but wonder if there was something more to come. Has Ms. Tracy Wolf left me dangling off a cliff yet again? Is there more to come of Ethan and Chloe's story? Or will she give us a story about Chloe's 'drink the pain away' roommate Tori? What ever your plans are Ms. Wolff, don't leave your fans waiting too long.
